The official blog for everything relating to the former Strychnin Crew & Urban Nation
For those of you who won’t be able to make it, here are a selection of inastallation shots from the new show at Strychnin Gallery in Berlin.
The main room is home to “Nuclear Religion” – photographs by American artists Dayvid LeMmon and Davey Jones. The two work in a very different way, with Dayvid putting together an image from a number of pictures he takes on location, while Davey creates everything within his piece as if it were a film set, then takes the shot.

In the Vault this month is “Sorrows & Blessings” by Lisa Mei Ling Fong. It is very different to Elmer Presslee’s installation last month, and shows how diverse the artists that work with Strychnin are!
Lisa’s “Introversion Boxes” each tell their own stories, whether real or imagined, through the items inside. Old photgraphs, trinkets, dried leaves and flowers, bones, and keys are all recurring themes within the pieces, but each box has it’s own individual narrative.
The show runs from today until August 2nd at Strychnin Gallery, Boxhagener Str. 36, 10245 Berlin. The gallery is open from Thrusday – Sunday, or by appointment.
