Strychnin Gallery: “Garden of the Dispossessed” installation

Here are the installation shots from our David Hochbaum’s new show “Garden of the Dispossessed” here at Strychnin Gallery in Berlin. Once again, David has excelled himself once again for this show, combining his love photography with painting, silk screen, carbon transfer and text.

Fans of David’s work will recognise his custom-made frames which are surrounded by caligraphy. He also returned to something he worked on earlier in his career, using metal to add a border to his works.

The houses in the windows are a small taster of the installation David will be making for Art Fair 21 in Cologne at the end of October. He will be creating a 11-foot tower of houses in the foyer, surrounded by a swirl of over 700 hand-made arrows hanging from the ceiling.
