“FutureScapes” At Strychnin Gallery

Based on the works of Zechariah Sitchin, “FutureScapes” explored the ideas of alternate dimensions and altered states of mind. Featuring individual works and collaborations from Jason Wheatley, Sri Whipple, Michael Page and Damon Soule, the show was a n explosion of colour and ideas!

The centrepiece of the show was the collaborative hexaptych “Nephilim Fields”. The individual pieces were finished over several nights of frantic work, with each artist adding their own touches to tie it all together, and responding to the ideas of the others.

Jason Wheatley flew out to be at the opening, and was a great help in putting the show together. His knowledge of the collaborative pieces gave us a better idea of the working process, and how to hang them.
