Opening Night of Jon Jaylo’s ‘Vanishing Folklore’

Last night, we had the pleasure to open up our September show with the delightful and mysterious works of philippihne artist, Jon Jaylo. It was a quiet and serene evening, since people came to focuse and admire Jaylo’s work. One could tell many of our berliner guests hadn’t seen such art before. Many were mostly bewildred by Jaylo’s technique, be it by his detail-rich and photo-realistic canvanses or by his meticulously ink and pen-drawings.
People came last night to pay respect to a great artist, who has worked his sweat off to bring his best to show at Strychnin Gallery. Our guests last evening were also very interested into the meanings of each of the pieces. Take a look at some images, enjoy!
